The Design of Highway Bridge Foundations
Králík, Michal ; Doněk, Michal (referee) ; Boštík, Jiří (advisor)
Topic of this master`s thesis is founding of the hightway bridge, which is located between Lipník and Bělotín. Thesis is aimed for creating shallow foundation and foundation on piles and choosing which option is better. All evaluations have been made without specialized software and than compared with GEO5 results. Better solution will be completed with procedure for construction and drawing documentation.
Overpass bridge across the highway
Černý, Pavel ; Šopík,, Leonard (referee) ; Nečas, Radim (advisor)
The topic of this thesis is detailed design of the supporting structure of a bridge. Three variants are designed. The structure is designed as a single beam bridge of 6 spans. The calculation of load efects make in software MidasCivil 2019 and Scia Engineer 18.1. The subject of the expertise of the structure is service limit state and ultimate limit state. For evaluation of cross sections is used MS Excel. Both design and relevant drawing documentation of the bridge deck and substructure. The design and assessment are according to the europien standards.
Elevated Road across the Dam Hričov
Holba, Radek ; Boštík, Jiří (referee) ; Glisníková, Věra (advisor)
Idea of this diploma thesis is comparison of different diameters of piles which are used for bridge foundation. Diameters of piles are 1200 and 1500 mm in this case. Diploma thesis is about technical implementation, financial comparison. In outset you can read about possibilities of bridge foundation on water surface. In the end of this thesis there is described technological process of foundation for bridge across the dam Hričov.
Suspension footbridge over the river Bečva
Sobková, Sára ; Šopík, Leonard (referee) ; Nečas, Radim (advisor)
The subject of this thesis is the design and assessment of a suspended footbridge for pedestrians over the Bečva River. Three variants of the crossing were created. The va-riant with a suspension structure was selected for detailed design. The chosen pede-strian footbridge is composed of two suspension cables supported by an inclined py-lon, anchored by a set of six anchoring cables. The design of the structure relied on finding the ideal geometry of the suspension cables. The computational model was created in the ANSYS Mechanical APDL 2023 R2 software. For the analysis of the deck in the transverse direction, model was created in the SCIA Engineer 21.1 software. The construction was assessed for ultimate limit state of serviceability and load-bearing capacity according to applicable standards, and a dynamic analysis was performed. The work includes clear and detailed drawings and visualizations.
Dilatancy of soils as a factor influencing the bearing capacity and load - displacement response of deep foundations
Dvořák, Tomáš ; Koudela, Pavel (referee) ; Chalmovský, Juraj (advisor)
In theory of soil mechanic the dilatancy has a significant influence, which may fundamentally affect bearing capacity and behavior of geotechnical constructions. In the past it was difficult to include influence of dilatancy directly in to calculation, but now with development of numerical analysis and growth of computer performance it is much easier. In this work there are introduced fundamental dilatancy models and phenomen called constraint dilatancy, which causes stress changes in soil or at soil – construction interface. This stress changes may lead to higher bearing capacity. In this work, the effect of constraint dilatancy is focused on bored pile’s shaft. Next target of this work is including dilatancy to calculation. By empirical methods, by direct application with theory of cylindrical cavity expansion and last by numerical calculation with finite element method in software Plaxis with using the Hardening Soil model.
Apartment Building
Švecová, Michaela ; Pilík, Václav (referee) ; Struhala, Karel (advisor)
The subject of this bachelor thesis is making the project documentation for construction of an apartment building in Vysoké Mýto. The apartment building is located on the western outskirts of Vysoké Mýto, in the residential area. It is a free-standing, three-storey, non-basement building with six housing units on the second and third floor. There are technical premises and four garages on the first floor. On the east side of the building, there is a parking lot and entrances to the individual garages. The vertical structural system of the building is made of Porotherm ceramic blocks. The building is insulated by a contact thermal insulation system with EPS insulation. Horizontal structures are made of reinforced concrete monolithic ceilings. The balcony boards are made of monolithic reinforced concrete with using ISO-supports. Vertical movement is possible through a staircase that is made of monolithic reinforced concrete or through the lift which is stored in a self-supporting shaft from monolithic reinforced concrete. The building is based on drilled piles in interaction with reinforced concrete foundation strips. The roof is flat, green in combination with pea gravel. The project was designed with a respect to current development in the area and with emphasis to the regulations. Parts of the work are schemes of technical equipment of buildings in the object and reviews of construction physics, in particular thermal technics, acoustics, insolation and lighting. The following programs were used: AutoCAD 2018, AutoCAD 2021, ArchiCAD, Teplo 2017, Světlo+, Building Designe, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Publisher, Hluk+.
The impact assessment of a new deep foundation for the structure of the primary service tunnel
Lipka, Miroslav ; Horák, Vlastimil (referee) ; Horák, Vladislav (advisor)
The purpose of the diploma thesis is assess the impact of piles on primary collector lining. Using a mathematical model has been calculated interaction between pile ond collector lining. The main task is to decide the length dependence of the pile deformations and internal forces that are the concrete lining of the collector.
Pedestrian bridge across the river Nitra
Tomečka, Petr ; Kaláb,, Pavel (referee) ; Nečas, Radim (advisor)
The subject matter of this master thesis is to design pedestrian bridge across the river Nitra in a city Nitra. Out of three possible solutions arch bridge was considered to be the most optimal system for given situation and it was analysed in detail. The design and assessment of load-bearing structure was evaluated acording to valid standarts. The main goal was to comply with ultimate and serviceability limit state. Global calculation model was created in ANSYS Mechanical APDL 21 R2. Model of the slab of the deck in the cross direction was performer using SCIA Engineer 19.1. Load capacity of some cross sections was verified manually and some using computer software IDEA Statica 21.0. This thesis is extended with drawings of sequence of construction, detailed drawings of the bridge and visualizations.
Design of selected elements of reinforced concrete structure
Klust, Vojtěch ; Čairović, Dorde (referee) ; Kostiha, Vojtěch (advisor)
Diploma thesis deals with the desing of reinforced two way concrete foundation slab in three variants. In the first variant is slab of constant thickness. In the second variant is haunched slab. In the third variant is slab with piles. The thesis includes a structural design as well as drawings. All calculations were performed in accordance with applicable standards. For the design was used program SCIA Engineer 19.1.
Reinforced concrete storage halls
Bezruč, Michal ; Šulák, Pavel (referee) ; Janků, Hynek (advisor)
The Bachler’s thesis is focused on a design of new building of storage hall made of reinforced precast frame. In the thesis is solved middle part, that consist of two fields of two-bay hall. From the static view is qualified purlins, girders, columns and pile foundation including in-situ chalice. In a layout part of the thesis, there are worked up drawings of structure, shape and scheme of reinforcement of every part.
